Well at least not as stupidly as I:
Seat 1 : SB starts with 6,050
Seat 2 : BB starts with 2,025
Seat 3 : UTG starts with 1,800
Seat 4 : Villian starts with 15,125
Seat 5 : MP starts with 500
Seat 6 : MP+1 starts with 7,725
Seat 9 : Hero starts with 3,050
Seat 10 : Button starts with 1,875
Seat 10 : Button has the dealer button
>>>DEALING HOLE CARDS<<<
Hero dealt down Ac Qd
SB posts the small blind 150
BB posts the big blind 300
(Pot is currently 850)
UTG folds
Villian raises 1,150 to 1,450
MP folds
MP+1 folds
Hero called time
Hero raises 1,550 to 3,000 and is all-in
Button folds
SB times out
SB folds
BB folds
Villian calls 1,550
Hero cards were Qd Ac
Villian cards were Qs Qc
>>>DEALING FLOP<<< [ 4d Kd 5s ]
>>>DEALING TURN<<< [ 5h ]
>>>DEALING RIVER<<< [ 9c ]
Villian wins 6,850 with two pair, queens and fives
Hero has left the table
Hero finishes in 23rd place
A little background on Villian, he has been hyper agressive calling anyones all-ins with any A-X, and even any 2 suited. Hitting everything. My thoughts before this hand was if I can double through him once or twice when I get a hand.
My mistakes (obviously) were A) Villian raised more than the standard raise this hand, he clearly showed more strength than any previous hand and B) AQo ain't that great with a suspicious overbet in front of you. With 10x the BB I needed to look for a spot, I even took my time and contemplated whether to push or fold, obviously I didnt use that time to think clearly. I am glad I didnt spike an A, so I can learn to lay down hands in these situations and wait for a better time to get my money into the pot.
