$10 PP SNG. I am in 4th position with T1700, CO has T2100, BB has T800. I limp for 100 with Tc9c. CO raised to 200; BB and I call.

Flop comes Qd8c7c. I push with the straight flush draw 1700 into 650 pot. CO shows AcKc. An ace falls on the river and CO wins with pair of aces, although already ahead with ace high.

Despite the result, I don't think this was too bad a play. I was a 4-3 underdog and getting 4-3 pot odds. There are not that many hands I would not be the favorite against.

Should I have checked, and gone for a checkraise allin, or taken a free card if it was checked around? Would anyone play it differently?

Obviously the miniraise was strange with AKs, and I would have folded preflop to a real raise. I could also have brought it in for a raise or passed rather than limping.

I personally prefer the check raise on the flop here, but you're not folding, and at 10+1 level, (and likely much higher), neither is he, probably correctly in most cases.
