I did. Many games were played here in the Twin Cities. They had trouble selling tickets.

The whole was overshadowed by the disaster of what is to become of the NHL season this year.

i wasn't a big fan of espn/espn2's coverage of the wch... i wouldve done anything to watch the games on CBC...

Yep Bettman (who is about as popular in Canada as Carrot Top) is scheduled to give a press conference at 2:30 pm, in which he'll announce that the owners are locking out the players.

Training camp was scheduled to begin today.

I saw most of it. That move Tuomo Ruutu made on his goal was incredible. He's going to be a sleeper pick for me in fantasy hockey this year.....oh wait. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Canada played much better than they did the last game; I was pretty worried that they would come out like they did before and get slaughtered.
