i feel like i've been playing badly all day and i'm really not sure why. fortunately i quit early, but this hand bugged me. i'm pretty sure the BB is a 2+2er.

Why not jsut call him down? It costs the same and you can't get 3 bet.

if I get 3-bet I know I'm beat so I fold the turn.
if he's on a draw then I gain an extra bet.

maybe I get really lucky and he folds a better hand..

this is an odd way to play a flush draw, and even if it is a draw, he'll bluff the river

given that you've shown no post-flop aggression, he could be strangely playing a 9 or a pocket pair. I think folding is pretty weak considering you only have to win 1/3 of the time calling down.

I don't see how this isn't an ace, especially since your read is that he's solid. Whether I'm going to a showdown here depends almost entirely on how I've been running in the session. Sad isn't it? If I'm playing well I fold this turn - not sure if it's correct though.
