Looks like classic two-pair here. I think you're beat more than half the time, so I'd just call.

I also thought he must have caught something on the river, and called as you suggested. BB inexplicably turned over 77. He randomly came out betting on the river with a hand that was almost certainly beat from his point of view.

No reason for him to bet into you unless he wants you to call/raise here. He's gotta be assuming you've at least paired the ace.

Yeah, just now a busted flush draw bet into my TPGK on the river. However, I stand by my position that calling is the correct move.
