I have just examined my Poker Tracker data for 3k hands. My sample size is somewhat small, thus I would love for others to validate these results.

I have enough data to report on 6 types

sl - slightly
L - Loose
A - Aggressive
P - Passive

Type Total hands Avg BB/100
slL A P 1290 (3.6)
L A P 1865 (8.44)
L P P 1980 (4.53)
slL A A 719 2.31
L P A 421 3.95
L A A 1807 9.55

Initial thought - the key to Poker Stars $1/2 6 max is aggression after the flop. Aggressive players win, and passive players lose. Initial hand selection does not seem to be very important at this level (I suspect at higher levels hand selection will become much more important). I my database VP$IP (voluntarily put $ into the pot) is 41% (I am currently at 25%). This level is very loose - the key to winning is post flop play!

That being said - the standard good hands (regardless of book) show positive expectation, while bad hands show negative expectation.

My goal - work on tight starting hands, increase preflop aggression and especially play appropriately aggressive post flop.

Your sample size is a few orders of magnitude too small to draw any conclusions from.
