the US was dismissed for 65 in the first game of crickets ICC champions trophy - not quite a record low score for international cricket but close - what was a record was Oz getting the runs for the loss of 1 wicket with 42.1 overs remaining

squillions of people and you cant get a few guys with enough coordination to hit a ball with a bat ??

cricket's the best - its got lots of cool language - deep fine leg, silly mid off, googlies, ducks and tons - to name a few terms

i played some baseball - its ok - awful to watch - 15 minutes of action stretched out over hours of wank - cricket may not be a fast paced game but as soon as you get the ball back you run in and bowl it again - do you get 90 balls pitched an hour in a baseball game ?

It is sad. We didn't even make the medal round at the Olympics this year. I guess we will have to pin our hopes for national pride on curling in 2006.
