8 NFL survivor pool picks

Ok, I am in a huge NFL survivor pool, 1300 entries left. I have 8 picks remaining.

Any thoughts on my preliminary picks?

3 NE (at Ariz)
2 KC (CAR)
1 NewOrleans (SF)
1 Balt (PITT)
1 GB (CHI)

Any thoughts? There is not much out there...

First of all, Green Bay is the lock of the week.

Secondly, I absolutely hate taking road teams in this type of pool, so I would normally not take New England, as they will have much easier games in the future at home. However, with that being said, there are not many easy games this week, and you probably do need to ride a pick or two on the Pats, simply because of the rest of the schedule.

Third, Baltimore looked terrible in week 1, and Pittsburgh actually looked good. Teams that do well against Pittsburgh are teams with a good QB and big play receivers, of which Baltimore has none.

New Orleans should be a solid pick, especially with Dorsey starting for San Fran.

KC should also be solid, but I do not like it enough to use 2 picks on it.

If I was making 8 picks I would go with:

Green Bay - 3
New Orleans - 2
New England - 2
Kansas City - 1

I did not know about Dorsey. I'm putting an extra one on both New Orleans and Green Bay.

I'm a little leary with 3 on Green Bay though. Big win...short week...
