I don't see any other way to play it. I would put UTG+1 on either 78 (obvioulsy) or A9, unfortunately you're losing to both of those after the river. There's always a chance that he overplayed TP w/o TK.

Party players are so weird that your turn and river call are almost mandatory.

I was thinking set after seeing that flop. Every time I have a big pair and the board comes with 3 small cards, I can "feel" a check-raise coming.

I wasn't sure if anyone would fold. I tend to call down too much, and I thought the A doomed me.

You still can't fold to one bet on the river in the Party 3/6 game with a pot this big.

It did, but you know you can't fold. And as Dave said to me a couple weeks ago...I know you know that you can't fold, and you know that I know that (3rd level of confidence). Just call it down and wiat for next time.
