Ignore game size--it was an incredibly loose, slightly overaggressive game that played very much like a B+M 2/4 game.

Does anyone go ahead and raise the river? I definitely put random bet out guy on calling with whatever he had and was not convinced that catching his kicker on the river to fill up made up very many of the times he bet out there.

I generally don't go for overcalls if I have a hand that I'm basically sure is best. if you feel like your trips aren't best, then I agree with going for the overcall, but assuming this guy calls your raise, you'll make just as much if UTG+2 calls one bet, or if MP1 calls your raise. there's also the possibility MP1 3-bets with a worse A.

I didn't think was definitely best, although I thought it was very likely.

I was sure that I would get 3-bet the times I wasn't best, and thought there was a slim chance I would get folded to by a bluff if I raised. I would have been shocked if MP1 chose the river to wake up with a worse ace.

That being said, I felt pretty dumb not raising after the hand.

Weirdo EP bettor had 66. I still can't decide if he would have called a raise.

I don;t like the overcall here since you make the same if you raise and MP1 calls which I think is more likely than the overcall.
