Playing in a PP $10 Multi. We are down to 30 players and are in the money when the following 2 hands with AK came. The money is still nominal at this point. No read on the table as I have been at this table for 5 hands. Average stack is about 14K.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t1500 (8 handed)

When MP1 went all-in, I put him on PP of 88-JJ and planned on raising all-in to get heads-up. But MP2 called right away. My read on MP2 is that he also have PP maybe AK or AQ. Did not figure that I could get to him fold by raising all-in so I decided that I did not want to play against probably 2 PP and 3 playings left to act.

On this hand, I think the better play would have been to raise all-in pre-flop. But once I bet on the flop, I think that I had to call the all-in raise.

Hand 1: Good fold. I'm not a big fan of over-calling an all-in for 1/2 my stack.

Hand 2: All-in preflop, absolutely. You only have 8xBB here. Punish him for limping with QJo, or whatever he might have.
