After UTG called the pot-sized preflop reraise, how should I respond to this flop raise?

Thanks,
Justin

He's all-in, easy call when the pot is that big. Sure he might have KK, but he might also have AK/QQ/JJ.

I'd find it hard to believe that he has a 10 in his hand. Most likely A-K, but depends on what you know about the player's style. If he's fortunate enough to flop a boat in this spot, I'd have to pay him off.

Plus a lot of players wouldn't have led at the pot with a boat, figuring that you had AA in that case. If I'd have flopped big full, I'd have checked, and I'm sure a lot of others would have too.

Thanks.

I did call and It turned out UTG+1 had Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif T/images/graemlins/heart.gif. (he obvoiously played too aggressively preflop).

Now that I look at the hand, I was out of touch with his stack in the beginning. If I realized he bet so much of his stack preflop, I would not have been as concerned about his flop raise--he probably felt committed to the pot.

Are all of your posts bad beat rants?

I'm pretty new. For big losses, I can't tell bad beat from bad play.

So... I ask questions on my most expensive hands (usually me leading with the chin on a good hand).

Some of my posts are won pots. But I definitely post less of those--there are less wins where my spidey sense tingles.

AA and KK were my most expensive hands in the last couple days. Just wondering if I was botching them somehow.
