The seven really scared me. I figured him for a hand like 87 or A7 or a spade draw that had an 8 in it, or just anything 8. So I figured if he missed his draw he isnt calling, and if he did have one of the hands with a 7 in it, Im getting raised.

He cold calls 3 bets preflop with A7 or 87?

I think he more likely has an overpair.

altho I did lose a pot earlier today at 3/6 when 43s called 3 cold and then chased a backdoor flush to beat my flopped set of Kings, so I never discount anything anymore
