what about the live game I played where two guys made it 5 bets on a 7-8-9-T club board?

one had the J of clubs, one had the 6 - two st8 flushes...

not the best ever, bro. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I like it, straight flush Ace to Seven... the result isn't too impressive but the line up would be purty.

I would be pretty but as a hand it just pretty good. In a tournament a while back I pulled a much higher straight flush. Can’t really remember what it was exactly and it didn’t matter since I was knocked out of the tournament by a higher straight flush. My just kept saying WOW how could that happen. Instead of trapping and winning huge I was gone. The wife keeps saying it reminds her of the movie “Honeymoon in Vegas” when Nicolas Cage lost to a higher straight flush.

I think anyone would call the river in this spot.

I think you guys are missing the point of his post. Hes not saying it was some amazing hand where he won all kinds of money, he's saying the he has a 7 card straigh flush A to 7

Exactly. I'm assuming it's just an aesthetically pleasing hand that's the point here. Ah2h3h4h5h6h7h... like AsKsQsJsTs9s8s but maybe even nicer looking.

Another fun artistic hand I've seen (huge irrelevant pot) -
AAvKKvJTs v (others)

Board AKQKA
This one would take the cake if the straight rivered a Royal. Unfortunately he just lost a lot of money.

or AAvKK, board KKA(r)QA (less pretty but more painful. I believe the AA thought it far more likely he was up against AK until the river. And I think the KK was blinded by his quads to realize that the betting from his opponent was consistent with exactly one hand - AA, since there were no Ks left in the deck and it was capped on all streets - and that it was one of those very few easy reads that he was beaten by overquads on the river)

Here's a similar one:

Everyone went all-in on the flop, IIRC (yes, even the guy with the perfect-perfect "draw").

I know what the point of the post was. That doesn't change the fact that he misplayed the hand.

that's some crazy ass hand AA,KK,QQ, J10s Kings full, Queens full, Nut flush vs. runner runner straight flush. I'm no photoshop expert so I can't tell if it's fake or not

It was sent to me by a friend -- I believe it's real, but since it's pretty simple layered 2D CG, someone with good PhotoShop skills could edit the cards in such a way that it would be literally impossible to tell.
