I'd rather be fat, rich, and smart than thin, poor, and stupid.

Later, Greg Raymer (FossilMan)

Oh Jesus.

I don't think that Greg or Chris would mind seeing some "devouring the competition" jokes, or whatever. It's funny because they know they're overweight and can laugh along. The point is that there's some humor actually there. I doubt that they'd actually take any real offense from that sort of thing either.

Calling someone a Fat Bastard (TM) is more confrontational than lighthearted humor, and way out of line, despite the trailing smiley that I omitted.

I'll shut up now because I know neither Greg nor Chris and it's none of my damn business.

how can that possibly be a reason for someone to want to play on stars?

it was a joke, if it's deemed offensive then I apologize. I wouldn't mind the wealth /images/graemlins/grin.gif

The guy that coined it and mentioned it to me is substantially larger than raymer or moneymaker, which is why I thought nothing of it. If you need specifics about 5' 9" ~375 or so...

He plays on stars too, apparently.

I guess I would rather be slightly overweight, middleclass and moderately intelligent (because that's what I am and I don't want to lose any self esteem)

BOOYAH!

Get 'im, Greg.

Greg might have more money than I do, but I definitely have a few pounds on him.

Wait -- that's not a good thing.
