I majored in statistics in college but haven't used that knowledge since. It's been a long time. Is there a book that combines probability along with poker? I was reading through a few threads and I've never heard of the Q-function before.

I just ordered Sklansky's Getting the Best of It. Are there other books?

Getting the Best of It was one big waste of money for me. it's my least favorite 2+2 book.

Super/System has all kinds of probabilities in it.

Petriv's "Holdems Odds Book" available from Gamblers Book Shop (http://www.gamblersbookclub.com) will teach you how to calculate all the odds though it has no strategy content.

Alspach's Mathemaics and Poker Page (http://www.math.sfu.ca/~alspach/) has a ton of good articles.
