Much like Kerry stifling the free speech by pressuring the networks to not air the swifties ads, Bush has assaulted the free speech with his response to the Kelley book. They went so far as to "discourage that network from broadcasting interviews with Ms. Kelley about the book."

I, for one, am outraged. Who will stand with me to protect the sacredness of the 1st Amendment?

Beyond the call to NBC, which I agree is wrong, I dont see anything untoward in the way the Bush campaign is handling this issue.

Frankly, I dont think this book or "Texans for Truth" is going to play well with the electorate. We will see.
