I just got into this table. After just for or five hands, I got dealt QQ. Therefore, I had no read whatsoever on the villian. I never faced him before.

Button ($60.10)
Hero ($42.60)
BB ($17.50)
UTG ($24.85)
UTG+1 ($20.35)
MP1 ($24.10)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.

I think you did very well. Any other line would have lost you much more money. I don't think you could have bluffed him off with any size bet at the flop/turn.

I agree. In fact, he had the worst hand you could imagine for you to run into in that situation. He hit TPTK on the flop with nut flush draw. Then he hit TTP on the turn, still with the NFD. Finally on the river, he hit the NF. There's no way you would have been able to get him out at any point other than possibly preflop, and even that was unlikely.

It sucks, but what can you do? (Hell, my last four QQs have run into 1-AA, 2-KK, 3-AA and 4-KK AND QQ. The last one is the only one that didn't cost me a lot, and that's because both callers were AI for 1/10th of my stack.)
