I think somewhere along this hand something went horribly wrong, I'm usually clueless as to whether to fold or call down the turn checkraise.

Given the PF action, I'm betting are villain has a hand like AK. Given the single-suit flop, his turn c/r is a question...do you, or do you not have the flush. When you call, he gets scared again, and checks the river. What could he cap with that you beat right now? Red AQ? That seems to be it. I'd check down the river if I made it that far.

I probably play it the same but check behind on the river.

Yeah, for some reason I thought I had a chance of making him fold with a bet on the 4-flush board. I think it was obvious that he had me beat, and checking was probably a wiser decision.

Just fold on the turn. Its over. Without a great read he has you badddd.

Yeah I agree that folding the turn is probably best without a read. Doubtful that 7s helped him.
