Satellite Question

If you play in a satellite for the purpose of selling your seat, how much should you sell it for? For example, you win a seat for a $500 event. What would be a normal sell price?

I did this once and got 480. This was where the players were lined up at the sign in, with cash in hand, ready to pay.

walked to the sign in area and asked who wanted to save 20 bucks

handed him my lammer for 500 and $20 and got $500 in kisash, now it doesn't always work this way. Many times players who are too confused with anything beyond throwing in the money can't figure it out and needed to be prodded like cattle, but you can work around this too.
