NLHE Tournies at Viejas in San Diego

Does anybody know anything about the NLHE tournies at Viejas in San Diego? All i heard was that the rounds were very short.

The Tournaments are $12. buyin for $1500 chips and $2.00 for an additional $500 chip, always ge the extra chip.

These are No Limit and the same structure on Saturday and Sunday.

The Tourney starts at 10:00 am, but the start selling seats at 8:30 am. They usually sell all seats by 9:30 = 9:40 or so. They start selling alternates/standby seats. I always try to get my seat at before 9 and have breakfast.

The blinds go up pretty fast.

The closest I have gotten to the money is 40th, 4 tables left. I chased too many small stacks.

I believe, it can be beaten, consistently, just not by me-- yet!
