I don't like your Browns pick. I am looking for Balt. to cover the spread easily.

Why do you see value in Colts? I see a team that hasn't lost in about a year, playing at home, they know not to be flat this year like after first Championship, or in game one after Bills opener. This is a coin flip for me.

I like Houston -5. San Diego is even money to be the worst team in the league. The other half they will be just really bad.

I think the rule changes for defensive backs (less contact allowed) and the loss of Ted Washington for the Pats will have a big impact on the game. I think the game will be close and high scoring. I always like getting more than 3 points with a good team like the Colts. Additionally, there is historic value in betting against the Super Bowl champ in the opener (I don't personally place a lot of weight here, but some do and it is nice to have that factor working for you as well).

The rule change is a good point. I remember the playoff game where Patriots DB were physical. Without that, I doubt Pats could stop 'em, even with the crowd and the cold. I remember Pats v. Colts at Indy regular season, Peyton brought them back big time, many unanswered TD, Pats had miracle goal line stand to win. Carolina also had their way second half. Rodney Harrison is not getting any faster, still a mean SOB. Corey Dillion!

I will blow it on the over, no tears! Ready for some FOOTBALL!! WHOOO HOOO!!!!
