Party Poker 3-6 (9 handed) dead small
mp posts bb
im in the cutoff with J9s
folded to mp checks his blind
mp+1 calls
i call
bb calls
4 handed
flop 2 T 8 rainbow 1 of my suit
bb bets, fold, call, i raise
bb reraises mp calls two more cold i cap.
bb calls mp calls.
turn is 8 of my suit. giving me open ended straight flush draw on a paired board.
bb checks mp checks do i take the free card?
I don't understand why you would have capped (or raised in the first place) that flop, if it wasn't to get a free card on the turn, it certainly wasn't for value with only two callers. So now that you get the free card, you should take it, because I wouldn't be surprised to see you get check raised by 3 of a kind, if not a full house. Why put more money in the pot when you don't have a hand and can't get any value on calls?
And use the hand converter next time.

Yeah take the free card. Is the preflop call too loose?

you know have 15 outs to complete your hand. 15/46 cards is roughly 1/3. seeing as you are getting the 2:1 odds you need from your opponents it seems even money. However your not drawing to the nuts, and you may run into a better flush or a fullhouse so don't put anymore money in this pot. On top of this you may get checkraised which would really suck.

I was thinking the same thing. but then again I'm far from an authority in this area
