I think you made a good fold. Very high likelyhood of straight/flush/K.

I would actually play this even tighter than you did. I would have folded preflop out of position with AQo.

I pretty much only post hands where I make the wrong choice so anyone have any idea what he had?

So you are saying he had something you could have beat and bluffed you out with that $68 bet on the river?

If that was the case, I put him on AJ.

Well, because of the all-in by the other guy I got to see what he had. Care to venture a guess?

If you are saying he bluffed you. Then Like I said, I put him on AJ.

Well, the thing that I realized after the hand is because of the board being AQKKX Basically I was hold A2. My kicker wasn't going to even be a factor. He pushed the pot on me with my exact same holding AQ. Kinda' burned me that I didn't bet the turn.

I tend to play these kind of flops very aggresively, perhaps too much so. I would have made a big bet on the turn. Firstly, he might be on a flush draw or flush/straight draw (with ATs). So when the King hits you've got a good chance for a possible steal. Also, like you said he could have AQ (or AJ for that matter) like you and be pushing on a steal himself. The King hitting on the turn makes it even less likely that he holds AK or KQ, so why would you not want to press any advantage you had?

Any comments on this post? I'd like to know if I'm talking sense or just talking outta my A#@.

I would have folded when you did. He called a pretty big reraise and then raised big when the third suited hit. With high cards it seems likely he hit the flush, str8, or fullhouse. Given he just called preflop he could have just about anything.

I tend to agree with betting the turn instead of checking it through. Because of the flush draw, villain would have raised you if he had the K on the turn and you can fold without worries.

HAHAHA.
What hands do you play to a raise out of position?
If you are indeed this tight... Nice job. I like the hero played this hand, just unfortunate. Good fold at the end.
