PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed)

Oh and do you cap pre-flop? Fairly tight player in MP2 I thought might cap so I just called the 3-bet. Button was new to the table, no read.

Preflop: Hero is SB with A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif. MP3 posts a blind of $3.
2 folds, UTG+2 calls, 1 fold, MP2 (Fairly tight) raises, MP3 (poster) calls, 1 fold, Button 3-bets, Hero calls, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls, MP2 (Fairly tight) calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: (16 SB) 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (5 players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, Fairly tight bets, MP3 folds, Button calls, Hero calls, UTG+2 calls.

Turn: (10 BB) K/images/graemlins/spade.gif (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, Fairly tight bets, Button folds, Hero calls, UTG+2 folds.

I'd fold the flop.

I suppose there are quite a few hands to fear after the flop. Both made and drawing. AQ, KQ, AA, KK, QQ, JT, sets plus any flush draws. One bet to see the turn was too tempting. Is it a clear fold to you?

Huh? No way is UTG+2 going to raise. Getting 18:1 you should call even if the villian flashes AQ.

I would cap preflop if either UTG+2 or "fairly tight" is also weak enough to fold something like TT for 2/3 cold.

Why not just cap for value with AKs?

Quite reasonable line. However, if MP2 is a very straightforward rockish kind of guy, getting to see whether or not he caps might be worth giving up 2SB.

After calling the turn, river came...

2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif9 /images/graemlins/spade.gifQ /images/graemlins/diamond.gifK /images/graemlins/spade.gif6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif!

Check-check. "Fairly tight" got a new nickname after this hand when he showed down Q /images/graemlins/diamond.gifJ /images/graemlins/spade.gif for the flush. No wonder he did not 3-bet pre-flop.

Perhaps hesitation then bet out would have been the correct move for me on the turn?
