If you're in a tight game (even in microlimits you find yourself in one occasionally /images/graemlins/mad.gif) holding high pocket pairs (let's say for the sake of argument AA), in relatively late position (say one to the right of the button), and the action is folded to you, would you still always raise? if you thought the rest of the table would fold to your raise, it would be better just to call, right?

Interested in your thoughts.

I would still raise, and if I took it down there, well, that would be an instant 175% profit. Not bad. If it were a a really tight aggressive game, I might limp-re-raise, but if it were a tight passive game, I don't think I would let others out-draw me for free.
I'll let someone smarter than me give you a real answer.

I would start open-raising a ton of hands in LP. If they want to give me their blinds, I will let them.

There have been days...when I have tread water for HOURS at B/M play, subsisting almost exclusively on stolen blinds and freak two pair from unraised pots in the BB.
Ahhh....those rare, rare, tight players at FW. How I love them on my left.

My advise would be to find another game. By the way still raise.
