What's the general preception of Poker Stars? Do you like their software? Are there plenty of games going on? I've got a Party account, but was also looking at Poker Stars. Thanks.

Their software is fine, fancier than party's but not quite as easy to use. They have some good bonuses and reloads, good game selection, and great tournaments. It's nice to play $3 or $5 MTT's when you've had a few beers and dont want to buyin $30/50 on Party.

Where can I get Bonus Codes for Poker Stars?

Yes, and if you really play like a fish, the software will make you a favourite every time you are all-in /images/graemlins/grin.gif

(just joking of course, I wouldn't want Stars support to extend my blacklisting)
(if you read this PS, it works very well, I haven't won an all-in situation in 2 months, have gone broke over there and am VERY VERY sorry I ever complained about the river, the turn or wathever. Pls, pls, switch the damn button back to normal... )

I have yet to see a bonus or a reload at Stars (but I hear they exist, heh). Stars has the worst bonus/reload structure on the 'net. They get enough traffic they do not need to give any juice I suppose.

Stars offers a reload about every 2-3 months or so.

They are far from the worst to clear although this is dependent on the limits you play. But it is certainly faster than UB and a couple others.

There is no sign-up bonus on Stars, thus there are no bonus-codes when signing-up.

They haven't had a reload for a little while so I'm wondering if we are do for another one in the next few weeks.

Maybe they'll do one for the "now everyone knows who won the WSOP" after it airs this Tuesday (or is it next Tuesday?).

Hey Bob-
How are the games at Stars at the .50/1.00 and the 1/2 level? I have heard in the past they are tight...

Compared to other sites Stars generally has better players and the games tend to be tighter and more aggressive at all levels to, say, their Party counterparts.

However, the low limit games are still beatable and there are plenty of bad players around.
