Hello,
This is the first post on this forum by me, so i will start asking on some feedback on my micro-limit play.
Here is a link to The Chart (http://217.211.204.14/~rebewt/chart.jpg).

I play strictly by the stuff i've read in SSH and from other sources, so my question is, is this a normal "run" or is this just a "lucky streak"?

Best regards, David

19 hours, 140 BB. Are you multitabling?

Hi --

Last year, Homer did a neat post simulating what a winning player could expect to see, results-wise, after intervals of varying length. I was going to reply with that link anyway, but when I searched for it, I discovered that only like a week ago, the thread was bumped and Homer reposted the charts he created. Which is cool. You really need to look at this: Homer's "Streaks" post. (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=445039&page=&view=&sb =5&o=) The charts (including one for an "internet player" with a higher winrate than the original B&M simulation) are visible in Homer's latest post to the thread.

Basically, you need to be aware that yes, you're running very well. Streaks happen, and they can feel awfully good or awfully bad depending on which way they turn. Good luck, and welcome to the forums.

just my 2c.

cheers,

mn

I notice there were no big negative swings. This is quite fortunate for you, but won't last.

Yes, i'm aware that i will get major downswings as i continue playing, i started recording my profits/hour just after i lost almost half my bankroll with basically the same play /images/graemlins/smile.gif
Now i plan to continue recording my play until i reach 500-1000 hours so see how well i do in the long run.

Thanks, very interesting /images/graemlins/smile.gif
What will be more interesting is to see how my chart will turn out after the same amount of time /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Here (http://217.211.204.14/~rebewt/chart.jpg) is an updated chart, now with 50h recorded. Still going upwards with a steady phase. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

so 500 BB's in 50 hours single tabling? that puts you over 18 BB/100 for 2750 hands (55 / hour). this is a tremendous run and won't continue. enjoy it!
