Apparently they have been unable to get to New York for a scheduled double-header. I heard last night that the rules of baseball would indicate two 9-0 forfeits. But MLB is apparently reviewing the situation.
I'm a Yankee fan. But it would be a shame and a sham if they were awarded two victories because of the huricane.
The D-Rays will get to New York by about 5pm today. This is going to be one very late double-header if they do indeed play two games.

Don Best Sports just announced that they will play only one game and the pitchers are TAM D WAECHTER NYY O HERNANDEZ. It says it is going to start at 4pm PDT. Nothing was mentioned whether the other game would be rescheduled or forfeited.

The teams will play a double-header on Wednesday.
"Obviously, I didn't want to play a doubleheader tomorrow," Torre said.
Esteban Loaiza (9-7) will start the first game for the Yankees. Brad Halsey (1-2), recently recalled from the minors, will pitch Game 2.
If I were Torre, I wouldn't want to play any games with those pitchers, much less two. /images/graemlins/frown.gif
