View Full Version : Short handed...

I found the recommendations for shorthanded play from HFAP great when playing at a diminished regular full game. However for a fixed, 5 handed max game (particularly online poker) I found that these games are extremely tough. Most of the players know this aggressive style and the Good player- Great player factor is magnified. These great players make it so you can't read them at all. And, they constantly pick off your bluffs. They make you lay down winners...etc. They make ME their b*tch for about an hour, then I quit in disgust. I guess this is what all good players aspire to do. You can get demolished in one of these shorthanded games if you don't have the stomach for it. Reading these deceptive players is my greatest weakness and it cost mucho-denero.

How would I employ game theory against these unreadables in a shorthanded game? or is there better ways to defeat them?

Help!

Thanks
