I haven't seen this discussed before but I am curious if there is a way to guage how diferent the diferent levels of buyin sngs are. The only quantifyable aspect would seem to be what level the blinds are when you are ITM. I've been playing the party 55 sngs, I'm played close to 500 and am profitable but only very modestly so I still have much to work on. I'm mainly curious since when I'm reading posts for advice I wonder if the best play at one level may not be the best at another.

I went over my PT stats to get the details below, I don't expect anyone to give the same detail but just: 1. What level you play? 2. On average in your estimate what level are the blinds when you make the money?

What I have below is for a given level of blinds the percentage of hands I played at that level that I was ITM. (note: I do know that the pt levels are 2x the blinds)

At party 55's nl sng's (almost 500)
lev 3 25/50: <1%
Lev 4 50/100 3%
lev 5 100/200 9%
lev 6 150/300 28%
lev 7 200/400 50%
lev 8 250/500 77%
lev 9 300/600 96% (yes I have played maxed out ant not evn ITM).

So on averge lev 7 (60+ hands) 200/400 BB seem to be about the average spot to make the money, (50% of the hands i have played here were ITM) but it's often higher. Is this what others find?

So given this analysis I've started to be more agresive earlier on since if I have just hung on and have 1200 chips when it is 200/400 and 5 handed it is tough to have much of an edge.
