Multi-Table Advice Needed

Hi,
I am having a very frustrating time playing in large Online MTTs.
I am able to do very well up to the point where say 3/4 of the field is eliminated.
It seems my cards start to dry up one of 2 things happen.
1. I get blinded out.
2. I end up making a desperation all in play, and lose the hand.
Can any one give me any suggestions or advice on what I am doing wrong?
It gets frustrating playing for 3 or 4 hours and ending up on the bubble and getting nothing all the time.
