The Democratic National Committee sent me a nice letter accompanied by a glossy 8 x 11 photo of John Kerry and John Edwards, both smiling and holding hands uplifted together over their heads.
The letter included a darling sentence - quoted below:
“That's why, as beautiful and inspiring as it is, the Kerry-Edwards photo isn't the most important enclosure with this letter.”
Indeed. The asking for money took center stage.
But this photo memento and trinket letter is inspiring and arrived at the most appropriate time. My monthly target practice is coming up and the Kerry-Edwards photograph will be put to some good use. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif
