This situation occurred to a friend of mine recently while playing a NL tourney in Atlantic City. Since I was not there and only got his side of the story, I won't reveal which casino it was.
Apparently he got involved with a pot and ended up flopping two pair. He anounced that he was all in and began counting his chips. The dealer then proceeded to take his cards and throw them into the muck. After notifying the dealer what he had just done the floorperson was called. The floorperson ruled that he was only entitled to get back the all in bet he made on the flop. Isn't this wrong? Shouldn't he have gotten all the money back that he put into the pot during the hand? After all it was the dealer's fault not his.
