Hard to say since we don't really know what he plays like, nor what he thinks of your raises. If this is something he hadn't done before, and you haven't been particularly aggressive, I'd fold. If he just took a beat or you've been raising a lot, I'd call.

It's suited, and even though it's not multi-way, it adds a little more value to your hand. I think it's a call, unless he has kings or aces (less likely since you have both a king and ace in your hand), you're 50/50 to a pair and at least 60/40 over any other 2 cards. I call here, but some might fold.

You have AKs. He could turn over QQ, and you should still call, because of the pot overlay.

I don't think he has AA or KK, unless he's someone tricky.
These are the hands he can make this play with:
AK
AA
KK
QQ
JJ
TT

Maybe a lesser pocket pair, like 99 or 88, maybe AQ, but I doubt it. I don't think he has AA or KK, cuz he wants to sucker you in with that hand, but tricky players often push with those AA/KK.

That said, I put him on AK, QQ, JJ, TT, and call.

I make the call here for a few reasons:

1. The pot is giving you about 1.5 to 1 (you must call 795 to win 1220.

2. A lot of people will slow play KK or AA in your opponent's shoes.

3. The fact that you are holding AK makes your opponent's likelyhood of holding KK or AA less probable.

3. Any re-raise on his part will leave him PC'd, so that really opens up his range of possible hands.

Call.

this is online, right?

if so, then that's way to narrow of a hand range...the hero should call and expect to see AQ and KQ twice as often as AA or KK.
An underpair is the most likely hand, and clearly the pot is laying sufficient odds to call.

to quote dynasty, calling is underrated.

I agree with calling here but I want to ask another question about your play here.

Why the initial raise? Did you consider limping in with this hand? Would anyone else of limped in in this situation?

AK I like to limp with. If someone raises behind me then I can always come over the top of him. I find a lot of the top players will make this play.

Not a bad change it up play, since you can get a LP player raising w/ AQ or AJs thinking that there is no way they could be dominated by anything that an EP can limp with. I like the play better with deeper stacks.

I would call with AKs.

I called. He showed QQ. I flopped a K and MHIG.

I was getting 1.5 to 1 was still bigstacked if lost, and figured he’d have raised smaller with AA/KK so seemed easy call but wanted a second opinion. Thanks folks.
