Not a lot. But not bad at all for a brand new room.

5/10 - 2 full tables, 1 short.
2/4 - 1 full table
1/2 - 2 full
.5/1 - 1 full

NL 1/2 - 3 full
NL .5/1 - 2 full, 1 short
NL .25/.50 - 1 full
NL .10/.25 - 3 full

The software looks okay to me. Games seem to be moving along a decent clip.

Any other impressions of this place from anyone?

Any gossip on the reliability of their cash-outs?

Haven't signed up yet...any BoDoggians want to PM me to split a referral? (preferrably someone who's name on these forums I will actually recognize).

I can vouch for Bo-Dog.

They are a pretty well known sportsbook that caters to square action. i have had an account with them for an extended period of time and have had no problems. as a matter of fact thier customer service is pretty good.

anybody wants to PM with a refferal ofer, feel free.

The software is very quick (same as WSEX) and players seem sub par. The No-Limit tables were extremely loose the first day the site opened to the public but has since calmed down considerably.

Also, if anyone wants to be referred, I'll kickback the entire bonus to them. I don't like the idea of making money off someone just because I signed them up for a poker room.

I've played in the 2-4 a few times this past week. Each time there have been a couple of decent players, a couple of cold call with K-3 types and the rest average to sub par. Definately beatable.

The software is good. Fast, you can multitable and I haven't been disconnected yet. Stats are comparable to Paradise's and it is easy to check your "Bodog points" to see your bonus status. Overall I like this site so far.

For now, I have to rescind this offer until I find out exactly what the deal is (except for the person that already used my code). I just referred someone and the extra $200 is already in my bonus account, but I'm not sure if THEY have to play the necessary contributed raked hands or if I do. If I do, then I can't go around signing up a bunch of people and having to play thousands of contributed raked hands until I can make a withdrawal. I just don't have that much time to play!

The initial sign-up bonus of $100 I got when I made my $500 was instantly credited to my regular account (not the bonus).

The whole bonus thing is quite confusing for now.

Looks like a decent site in terms of software/support/potential user base, but the average pot sizes right now are tiny. The bonus would have to be a lot bigger to make forgoing Party tables +EV.

Just curious--what would you estimate the total user base of Bodog.com is? Of Party?

Just an FYI...I sent an email to support requesting clarification on their cashout procedures and received a response in less than a half hour on a sunday night. I'm very satisfied all around with this site and give it a thumbs up.

Hi,
I just recently gave a friend my referral code and he made a deposit. I now have $200 extra in my bonus account. In order to clear this bonus and make it available for withdrawal, do I have to earn 1200 bodog poker points or does my friend?

The action is great. I've made close to 4k just this weekend playing nl 1/2 and 5/10 limit.
There are some maniacs and "elephants" all over the nl tables.
The 5/10 tables are comparable to a .5/1.00 tables on party alot of the time.
I dont think the average pot size is quite correct, since it seems on the 5/10 tables theres at least 5 people seeing the flop and 2/3 guys going to the river, but it'll say the average pot size is only in the 50's.

one thing i may add,
i am a big fan of poker tracker, and its export notes feature, and the hand history feature at bodog is very different than most sites and doesnt look like it would work well at all for programs such as PT.

What prop group is doing Bodog? They seem to be doing a great job making it look busy.

While surfing around on the site trying to find info on cash-out policies, etc...I stumbled on a little bit that said that Bodog-Poker does NOT use any props or shills (and they also mentioned that Bodog employees are strictly prohibited from playing there).

Might have been under their FAQ's or might have been somewhere else...but the 'No Props' claim is definitely somewhere on their site.

Haven't tried their poker room, but a few years ago I used to play blackjack at Bodog's casino site, also made some sports bets. They did all right by me. Quick cashouts and good customer service too whenever I needed it.

Simply put, there are not 100 random online poker players frothing at the mouth for a 20% signup bonus anticipating the stroke of midnight for Sept 1 to appear so they can play during the first minute of a new sites opening.

Remember that they already had a successful sportsbook and casino. It's not like FullTilt or ZeroRake or others which are just brand new rooms with zero players.
Bodog already had customers...they just didn't have poker yet.

Plus, some of those players were already playing there for the past few weeks during their beta-testing period. I suspect that many of the players in their first week of operation are guys that had been playing there already.

I don't know whether their claims of 'No Props on our site' are legit or not...and I have no way of knowing.

And i do admit that I was also surprised by the number of players there in just their first week. But it might just mean that they successfully marketed their poker-room ahead of time to their current customers.

Pokerworld has a successful sportsbook and when they opened their poker room they used props. Even with props, they never reached Bodogs #'s.

I did read Bodogs claim of not using props as you stated.

Whatever brought the immediate numbers was a successful marketing program to say the least. Less of props, they must have a marketing genius there.

Are any posters current Bodog sportsbook account holders? Were there any special incentives provided to entice existing customers to try out the poker room?

Has anyone else cleared the bonus? I think I played 60-80 hours of $5/$10 to clear my bonus. I think you get 20% on every deposit for a limited time but you must clear the bonus or you can not cash out any winnings.

Thank you,

I've bet sports at Bodog for the last 2 1/2 years. They email a weekly bulletin and have been promoting their poker room for the last 3 months. They are one of the top 3 sportsbooks customer wise, they have done a lot of marketing in the past so I'm not surprised they can get over a hundred poker players on opening day.

The best way to clear the bonus is to bet on sports, they only require a one time rollover.

Nice $900 pot with your set of 8's last night. I was at your table. I was the one who lost with KK to A2 when he called my $90 bet on a 966 flop to put him all-in. He caught an Ace on the turn.

From Support:

"My apologies. I keep forgetting about the Poker Room and I need to remind myself how big it is already growing.

Good thing you responded because it appears that the required rollover for a referral bonus for all products is just one time. Poker, Casino and Sportsbook all referral bonuses just need to be played one time before withdrawals can be processed.

Good Luck Sir,

I'm obviously a moron, but what does that mean? Is that different from their 6xpoints requirement? I'm enjoying playing there (its like being at play money tables sometimes), but I'm uncertain when exactly my bonus is cleared...

Mike Haven

The way I read it is that if you "refer a friend" who deposits, say, $1000, the amount of $200 you receive as your referral bonus has to be bet once before you can withdraw it.

It took three e-mails to get this information, because Luke kept talking about sports and casino bonuses, so I would hope he checked and gave correct details on this occasion, although I can't see it verified on their site.

Jim Kuhn

You need points equal to the bonus plus the deposit. Thus a $500 deposit provides a $100 bonus and you need 600 points. To check your points go to the Bodog poker client, click tools and poker points history.

Thank you,
