I play in a 10-20 game that has a half kill. Clearly when you have a leg up, you must tighten up your starting requirements because, if you win, you are forced to put out a $15 blind. You have some pot equity (maybe $3), but even so, this is a tax of about $12. You can think of this as an additional $12 rake if you win the hand.
I’m interested to get some opinions on how much to tighten up your starting requirements if you have a leg up.
