Accidently posted before my questions were in:

1. Should I have raised QQ into this flop?

2. Should I have folded to the reraise?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Justin

If you're going to raise preflop, raise the same amount no matter what your hand is. I usually go for 4xBB or 6xBB (depending on how big blinds are).

1) Depends on how aggro you are. Every game I bet preflop I bet postflop. Keeps 'em guessing if I hit the paint or have overpair (or if I'm just bluffing).

2) Fold to the flop raise unless button's a complete maniac who would raise that much on draws (and if he's got an OESD and flush draw it's still not a bad move on his part). You're beind an 8 or pocket jacks and have to hope a 3rd Q comes.

Gotcha. I'm still learning to observe the other players.
