I have been playing Holdem for 10 months and been a winner the last 8. I never had any swings bigger then 50 - 70 BB downwards att full tables. Soo I decided to play some 5 and 6 seat tables becasue the better players make more profit there. And now it seems to me that I can't do anything right. In just this week I'm down 150BB. I guess this is quite normal. When you play at 10 seat tables they better players recommend you have atleast 300BB for your level to handle the swings.
What do you recommend when you play 5 or 6 seat tables.

300BB should still be sufficient.

what adjustments have you made in your game after moving to SH tables?

cheers!

If you are normally a winning player in full ring games and have experienced a 150BB downswing playing shorthanded, there is a good chance you haven't made any adjustments. My advice would be to drop down a couple of levels from where you normally play full ring (e.g. if you play 3/6 full, play 1/2 SH). Learn the SH game inexpensively this way. Read this forum.
