I am horrible at statistics and odds calculation so I was wondering if someone could help me out.


Can someone give me the odds of an opponent holding an Ace in:

Heads-up play,

3-handed play,

4-handed play.

Check out http://www.planetpoker.com/mcu/. Warren's book also has some nice tables. (the tables are really the best thing about the book)

If you don't look at your cards and you have one opponent the probability he doesn't have an A is


48/52(47/51). So the chance he does have an A is


1- the previous figure.


For two opponents the probability neither has a A is

48/52(47/51)46/50(45/49).
