You guys ready to hear the grossest story ever?

Yesterday at Chumash in central cali I was playing $4/8 for a while when a new player was seated directly to my right. A few minutes into my session he looks over at me and then looks at my tray which had my left over food and then 2 bottles of water on it, 1 of which had like barely any water left, and I had already started on the other one.

So he grabs the empty one and is like "is it ok if i use this for my dip" and obviously since he had already grabbed it I couldn't really say "no you disgusting human being please don't do this right next to me". So he is dipping and spitting into the bottle which is conveniently right next to my water bottle on my tray. I get a little creeped out of this so insead of keeping my water bottle in the holes I put it towards the back of the tray.

A few minutes later I come across one of those borerline preflop decisions after it was 3 bet to me preflop and I decide to fold, and then of course the flop would have hit me right in the head, and then everyone goes insane in the hand and I would have won a huge pot if not for me folding, I of course go into the ol' woe is me trace, and then I reach for my water to take a swig and without paying attention I DRINK THE GUYS CHEW WATER.

I somehow managed to swallow the water, but of course begin spitting it up immediatly, then i set down his chew spit nasty water and start pouring mine into my mouth and spitting it out all over the tray, I did that a few more times and the guy doesn't even notice until I have to tell him that I drank it, to which I think his only reply was "ohh, I wondered why you were spitting your water out" and then he keeps on playing without really noticing. So I go to the bathroom and keep washing my mouth out and then go back to the game.

Of course like 15 minutes later I start feeling gross and lightheaded, and thank god my friends are ready to leave. We drive all the way home and I'm feeling horrible and thank god I got my friends to drive the slower way home (theres 2 ways you can go, one is like windy mountain road which is way faster, and the other is just the 101). But right when we get home I start throwing up everywhere, finally that stops but I was feeling horrible and fell asleep right away.

Wow. That reminds me of MY personal gross out story when I passed out at a party. I woke up the next morning and took a swig of what I thought was the can of beer I'd been drinking the night before. It was too late when I noticed there were cigarrette butts in it.

But I'd rather drink a whole can of beer with cigarrette butts than take one swig of some guy's dip spit. So I guess my story doesn't come close to yours in grossness. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Hey Sponger15SB, What is the best/closest cardroom to san diego? I am a freshman at USD and the only casino ive heard of so far is Baronah (sp?). From what ive heard its an indian casino so you only have to be 18 to play and they have holdem, have you ever played there? If so can you tell me what limits they spread and how the games are. Thanks.

It is a nice room, theres like 15 card tables.

I'd say on a normal friday/saturday night, you'd find a lineup something like this.

4 $2/4 tables
2 $3/6 tables
3 $4/8 tables
2 $6/12 tables
1 $1-5 stud
1 $4-8 omaha
2 $2/3 blinds NL ($100 max buy in)

Sometimes they have a $10/20 game, but that only goes like 1-2x a week.

The dealers are nice/friendly, service is decent, food is cheap.

If you plan on playing $2/4, you gotta get there before 9PM or else there should be at least an hour waiting list.

Buellton is a cool little tourist town which is like 10 minutes from chumash, you'll have a fun little time crusing through like the Dutch Village stuff they have, plus wine country or whatever.

Sycuan is the closest by far (about 25 min from around USD). Viejas is a little farther, maybe 40 min away. There's always Harrrah's (around Escondido) at about an hour away. Barona is probably 35 min away.

Yeah, it was so weird, it was like everyone was in there own little world, nobody even looked over to notice, least of all the guy sitting right next to me who was chewing.

My only redemption was outplaying the bastard in the one hand we had against each other.

Back in college, there was a chronic dipper. He always left his cups around and eventually they would get knocked over in his room - very, very gross. Late first semester, dude is drinking and we are giving him a hard time about the endless cups of spit in his room. Somehow, a collection was taken on the floor and we raise like 90 bucks and the guy drinks a big 64oz cup.

He immediately turns green and spends the next six hours yacking in the can. Next day he says, "yeah, it sucked, but I am $90 richer, no longer sick, and I just doubled my bench press due to all of the nicotine in my system."

I am anxious to go to the 10 year reunion this year to see if he has any teeth left.
