Thanks Ed. My mom lives in Miami so obviously I am worried about that and of course we have posters that live in Florida too. Good luck to all.

Winds are down to 90 mph and it seems not to want to move towards land.

Is this going to peter out before it hits too hard?

Lets hope so.

Thanks, Ed.

Having only recently moved here to the Sunshine State, I must admit...

They sure have a LOT of hurricanes down here!

I guess it's the tradeoff for not having to scrape three solid inches of ice off of my car every morning for four months in Stamford Connecticut. Oh, and by the way, about that tradeoff...

It's not even close.

Signed,
38-yr-old Semi-Retired Geezer.

I just hope power doesn't go out here on sunday so I can still play in the PPM qualifier in this set. And monday we should get some good surf again. Good luck to those people getting the worst of it below the Cape.

Thanks again, Ed.

If this keeps up, I'll move back to hell--I mean, Fairfield, CT.

Looks like you might have to start packing, NOAA Scientists Expect Increased Hurricanes Over Next 25-40 Years.

Thank you. We here in Fort Lauderdale are getting very heavy winds but the people north of us in Stuart are getting pounded right now. A majority of those getting hit didn't even have roofs on their homes from the last hurricane to hit that area. I can't complain, I still have power and everyones good here but I do feel for those north of us. I hope this is the last one.
