It's almost cliche to here, that if you lose with trips and don't lose a lot, then you didn't play them right. But does that apply to any set of trips, whether you had pocket kings or pocket deuces(for hold'em)?
I tend to lose more with let's say a pocket pair of jacks that makes trips and loses, than with a pocket pair of threes that flops a set and loses(at least against four or more players, heads up probably the same).
