This is from an article from KSN news (local Wichita, KS station), found on the MSNBC network. A man is being charged with having child pornography for taking nude pics of a 17 year old girl, but it would be perfectly legal for him to have sex with the girl in question.
Here is a quote from the article:
"The ironic thing about this case is that, because the girl is 17-years old, she could legally consent to sex. The age of consent in Kansas is 16. The problem for French is that he couldn't take pictures of the girl. She had to be 18 to do that."
