Opeth...Great stuff. Good pick in Drapery as well. I really love their album Damnation, as their mellow stuff really gets me.

Not sure if you're already farmiliar with them, but you may want to check out "Pain of Salvation". Couldn't really compare them to anyone out there, as their stuff is radically different than anything, but I've turned a *LOT* of Opeth fans onto them -- that's gotta mean something! Some of it takes a few listens as it's complex stuff, but you won't be dissapointed.

You shouldn't tell people you listen to anything by Dashboard Confessional. I only know this because I've made the mistake.

3 of my all-time faves:

Jurassic 5 - "Jayou"
Ugly Duckling - "Energy Drink"
Ultramagnetic MC's - "Bait (remix)"

These are some good high-energy hip hop songs.... if you don't like that kinda stuff, then you probably don't wanna hear it.

Gary Puckett & The Union Gap had some great songs. What a memorable, distinctive voice. I used to play poker with a guy in San Diego who had a nice singing voice and had performed with Puckett many times in S.D. clubs. I'm forgetting that guy's name, but he was an exceptionally nice guy.
