Kevin Brown punched the clubhouse wall and broke his non pitching hand after the game tonight. It's not known how long he'll be out. Speculation is it might be the rest of the year. Brown says he's going to try to pitch through it.

Most new managers, or managers with new teams, tend to stay with their starting pitchers too long.

Since the 22-0 game, the Yankees have had all quality starts. But now they can't hit. They pulled out today's game becase Lee Mazilli is an idiot.

BTW, Jeter is 11 for 11 stealing third this year. I believe both Mickey Mantle and Joe Morgan said stealing third was easier than stealing second. I wonder what the stats show.
