I've been playing six max 1/2 limit recently and have really been enjoying the amount of action after switching from the PP 25$ nl 10 man games, where i'd play an extremely low percentage of hands.

anyway, i've had some success at this short handed limit game, but I'd really like some input as far as starting hand selection. on average, what percentage of flops do you guys see? any info would be appreciated. Thanks alot -

I'm see like 17.5% of flops, and I'm on the tight side. I'm trying to loosen it up a little more.

Most people here are at around 20%.

MY VP$IP (essentially flops that I see not including free plays from BB) is 19%. Overall, my flops seen is 30%

your VPIP% should be between 20 and 25. this would make your flops seen around 30% or so. any higher than 35% flops seen, and it will be difficult to win, though with superior post flop play, could be done.

cheers!

post the hands you are playing and in what positions/when you are raising with them and so forth. we'll tell you which ones to eliminate/play differently.

also, you can search for posts by Guido. i think he posted some links for hand selection you can check out.

cheers!
