California Card Room Help

I will be visiting California next week and want to play some cards. Are there any online guides to the California card rooms. I will be north of San Francisco near Sonoma. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looking at that website that was posted in the other message, it looks like you can head east (2 in Napa) or west (2 in Petaluma). I've only been to Sonoma Joe's in Petaluma so I can't comment on the others, but Joe's is a pretty easy place to make $$$ in the $3-6 game. They run NL tournaments Tuesday and Thursday nights ($25 buyin, $20 rebuy) and they are usually packed on those nights.

Do a search and you'll find some threads about Joe's.

Sonoma Joe's has some really, really good games. Very soft, many newbies who, aparently, don't like money...never really even seen a good player there.

If you are in Sonoma, it takes about 10-15 min to get to Petaluma...SJ's is off the 101.
