View Full Version : Short-handed/ Loose

I agree with the previous post that the chapter in "...Hold'em for Advanced..." on short-handed play is extremely helpful. However one situation that is not discussed of which I see a lot on both internet play and casino. That is, when the whole five or six handed table is very loose and not folding. Often there are 3-4 players that see the river. It seems that in this kind of game the short-handed theories and strategies don't apply. It feels to me that I need to revert to a more "normal" tight-aggressive style with a few added hands that are of slightly increased value due to the card distribution. Is it correct to play more "normal" in these loose/ short-handed games?
