On the bubble in a PP Super Weekday qualifier, 1-18 get a freeroll worth $162, 19th gets $76. Blinds 1000/2000. 19 left. Full table, I have 2nd smallest stack, around 7500.

UTG folds, UTG+1 goes all in (small stack, around 2000, 2300 or so)

I have AK offsuit in UTG+3

Do I call or push? I called, thinking I might get an overcall and more chips in the pot, which I mostly expect to win.

If I call and get raised, I plan to go all in.

If I call and get overcalled, I plan to bet all in on the flop if checked to. (with about 5000-ish chips)

What the XXXX do I do if the flop is something like 7 7 9 and the SB (who overcalled pf) pushes?

Regards,

Gar

I like calling better than raising (did I just say that?) since you won't get bluffed out of the pot with the short stack all in in that situation. In fact, if the table is at all savvy, there should be a little implicit collusion here and there should be a bunch of calls and lots of checking down.

folding shouldn't even cross your mind.

With opponents who have a clue, just call and invite other callers in to check it down. With overly aggressive/clueless opponents, it's probably best just to auto-fold unless you become the short stack.
